Worth knowing before you drive
The Costa Blanca is easy driving: the AP-7 motorway and the N-332 coast road run the length of it and most distances are short. From Calpe it is ten minutes to Altea, twenty to Benidorm and roughly an hour to either airport. UK, EU and EEA licences are valid in Spain without an international permit.
