The rules on how much fuel the car has when you collect it and when you return it.
The fuel policy sets out how the tank is handled. There are two main models, and the difference between them can cost you real money.
You collect the car with a full tank and return it full. You pay only for what you use and refuel wherever you like. It is the most transparent model and the one worth looking for.
You pay up front for a full tank, usually at a higher price per litre than the petrol station, plus a "service fee". You return the car however it ends up and unused fuel is not refunded. If you are only doing short trips, you are paying for petrol you never burn.
We work full to full. We hand the vehicle over with a full tank and you simply bring it back the same. No service fees and no pre-paid fuel.
Zero-excess insurance, no deposit, unlimited kilometres and free cancellation up to 72h before.
