A supplement for returning the vehicle somewhere other than where you collected it.
The one-way fee applies when you collect the car in one place and return it in another. It covers moving the vehicle back to its base, and it ranges from a few euros between nearby offices to several hundred between provinces.
The classic case here: flying into Alicante and out of Valencia, or the other way round. It is a common itinerary and plenty of companies penalise it.
That the amount appears before you confirm rather than at handover, and whether there is any restriction: some rates simply do not allow returning elsewhere, and doing it anyway costs far more than the expected fee.
We have fourteen pick-up and drop-off points along the coast, including both airports, and we work on the basis that you collect and return wherever suits you. If your trip lands at Alicante and leaves from Valencia, tell us when booking and we confirm the exact conditions up front.
