The set of equivalent models your car is assigned from: you book a group, not a model.
The vehicle group gathers models considered equivalent in size, seats and specification. When you book you are booking a group: the company assigns you any car from it, not the model in the photo.
Hence the "or similar" that always follows the name. A compact group might include a Seat León, a VW Golf or a Renault Mégane, and you do not choose which.
That the car handed over has at least the seats, doors and boot capacity advertised for that group, and the same transmission. If you are given a higher category because of availability — an upgrade — it should not cost extra.
If you are travelling with child seats, bulky luggage, or need an automatic, say so when booking rather than trusting the group. Those details vary a lot within a single category.
As a local company with our own fleet, we can be far more specific about the model than an intermediary. If you need something particular — automatic, seven seats, a big boot — tell us when booking and we confirm real availability.
